B.T.S.R. SPRING BREAK
Spring break 2001 will kick off Tuesday march 13-Sunday 18 at Buffalo Trails Scout Ranch in the Davis Mountains. All scouts 1st class and above may ether come for a base camp or complete a 30 mile 5 day back packing trip to complete requirements for the backpacking merit badge. In order to have 2 possible camps we must have a minimum of 4 adult leaders to make this happen.

363 ANNUAL CANOE TRIP
This year’s canoe trip will be Friday may 25- Monday 28(memorial day). We will leave by canoe from Colorado Bend State Park and plan to paddle down the Colorado river through Lake Buchanon and possible on to Inks Lake. Canoes and drivers are needed to make this happen. We will have to have a couple of extra people to pull canoe trailers. This will be a major part of the March planning and parent meetings.
SUMMER CAMP
This years Summer Camp will be from June 10 thou 16 at Camp Fawcett. This will be the first time in several years that Camp Fawcett will be open for summer camp, so sign up starts at the parents meeting in February. Be there or be square (knot).
SUMMER 50 MILER
Older Scouts have a chance again this summer to earn their 50 MILER this summer in ether New Mexico or Colorado, (place and time to be announced soon). Interested scouts must be at least 1 class or above and must have the approval of the adult leaders going. See Ron Gabriel or John Davis if you are ether an adult or youth interested in going.
NATIONAL JAMBOREE
Three scouts and 3 adults from troop 363 will be attending the 2001 National Jamboree at Fort A.P. Hill in Virginia with a four-day trip to our nations capitol. Ben, Carl, & Ben will be doing several fund raisers this spring including a garage sale to help earn there way.
